The Commotions
From 2012 to 2018 I was a member of The Commotions, a Motown inspired original group founded by fellow Jivewire and member of the Funk Brothers Canadian horn section Brian Asselin. “Let Me See Ya Dance” featured Funk Brother lead singer Delbert Nelson of Detroit and a great group of fantastic Ottawa musicians. A contributing writer as well as trombone player, I wrote and arranged a song for the recording called “Love Maze” that was included on the album.
A second album recorded in 2016, “The Commotions 11” contains two of my songs, “Last Look” and “Come Clean”“.
