The Ottawa Latin Jazz Orchestra
Formed in 2020 by the brilliant Cuban pianist/composer Miguel De Armas, The Ottawa Latin Jazz Orchestra immediately became a must see concert act due to a roster of excellent musicians and Miguel’s powerful compositions and arrangements. I have the honour of being included in this incredible group!
Beginning with the release of a virtual concert during the height of the pandemic, in 2023 Miguel recorded and produced “From Me To You”, an album and the band has appeared in concerts and festivals in the Ottawa region and has plans to move beyond due to Miguel’s visibility in the Latin music diaspora. I’m looking forward to whatever comes next!
